Abstract
Prostor koji nas okružuje i koji ostaje budućim generacijama; kulturna baština, dječja igrališta, parkovi, dječji vrtići - elementi su kulture prostora. Dječji vrtići svojom vanjskom i unutarnjom arhitekturom, dvorištem jedan su pokazatelja kulture ustanove. Svojim prostornim rješenjem mogu (ne)doprinijeti ostvarivanju dobrobiti djece i zaposlenih. Postojeći vrtići ne mogu zadovoljiti potrebu upisa sve djece, a približavanjem odredbama Državnog pedagoškog standarda (NN 63/08, NN 90/10), pojavljuju se još veće potrebe za izgradnjom novih. Podosta dosadašnjih objekata koji se koriste nastala su prije približno pola stoljeća, dok su zadnjih desetljeća, zbog manjka istih, neki prostori adaptirani i prenamijenjeni. Arhitektura u korelaciji sa prostorno-materijalnim uređenjem, jedan su od prediktora kvalitete odgojno-obrazovnog procesa. Novoizgrađeni moderni vrtići nisu projektirani u suradnji sa stručnjacima iz područja RPOO koji imaju najviše iskustva o potrebama djece i dosadašnjim prostornim nedostacima. Rezultat toga su često objekti arhitekture neprimjerene djeci, koji ograničavaju kvalitetu procesa i dobrobiti djece.
Abstract (english)
The space that surrounds us and that remains for future generations; cultural heritage, playgrounds, parks, kindergartens - are elements of the spatial culture. Kindergartens, with their external and internal architecture, courtyards, are one indicator of the culture of the institution. Their spatial solution can (not) contribute to the well-being of children and employees. Existing kindergartens cannot meet the need to enroll all children, and with the approximation of the provisions of the State Pedagogical Standard (NN 63/08, NN 90/10), there is an even greater need to build new ones. Many of the existing facilities that are used were built approximately half a century ago, while in the last decade, due to a lack of them, some spaces have been adapted and repurposed. Architecture in correlation with spatial and material organization is one of the predictors of the quality of the educational process. Newly built modern kindergartens are not designed in cooperation with experts in the field of early childhood education who have the most experience with children's needs and previous spatial deficiencies. The result is often architecturally inappropriate objects for children, which limit the quality of the process and the well-being of children.
